About Le Scrum

Le Scrum, as far as we know, is the only Club-run retail outfit run by a team in all of North America, whereby all profits go directly back to the team. Launched in May 2015 at a well attended ribbon cutting ceremony lead by former rugby stalwart and mayor of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Bill Tierney, Le Scrum offers everything from cleat studs and ball tees to protective wear, cleats, and full team kits for youth, school, and senior teams.

To date support for the store has been tremendous by way of volunteers from within the Club offering to take on shifts, and donations of items to sell from former and current Canadian national team members, and alumni living near and far. The amount of one-of-a-kind game worn gear from local teams and teams abroad is astounding with awesome bargains to be had for those who spend the time rummaging.

What we thought would be the slower winter months has seen the store transform into Le ScrumSki, with Stone outfitting first timers and seasoned skiers alike with used and now new cross country ski gear.

Finally, Le Scrum has become a celebration of the misfits that have played and do play for the club, sport, community and overall good times. Our 2015 banquet held in November saw Le Scrum host a pre-cocktail party and on sunny/warm weekends throughout the summer the hum of our daiquiri machine was a familiar sound.

Most of all, it’s about making money to go on and help us do greater things as a Club and continue to crank out quality players, and more importantly, quality people.

So open your wallets, refer or donate to the store, or consider volunteering for a shift here and there. There’s lots of ways you can help.
